Khristy Textiles aims to market all the products of Kb Philanthropy 5 and other associated entrepreneurs, associated handloom cluster’s of the state of Manipur through its website . Kb PHILANTHROPY-5 is a sericulture project which was founded in 1998 to generate maximum employment opportunity to the rural population in Manipur. It is registered as a small scale industry in the Government of Manipur as a private enterprise which is 6kms away from Imphal City. The “5” mentioned in the name stands for the five steps involved in the production of silk. It starts from the soil and goes all the way to the finished product, i.e, fabrics. The steps are:- Mulberry plantation, Silk worm rearing, Cocoon reeling, spinning & ghicha preparation; Weaving and design of fabrics, Dyeing of fabrics

Parikshit Borkotoky, Founder of Kraftinn is an craftprenenur from Jorhat, Assam. KraftInn’s core focus is on the designing and manufacturing of home decor products. Currently, it offers offers lamps and other home decor artefacts like bookshelves, laundry baskets etc. Besides selling the products at own website, it also sells the products at different marketplaces like Amazon, Ebay and Pepperfry etc. Kraftinn has also exported its products to Japan and worked with companies like Himalaya Drugs, ONGC etc providing them with corporate gifting options.

Bizongo is a B2B ecommerce venture exclusively for Packaging and Material handling solutions which was Established by alumni of IIT Mumbai and IIT Delhi. Bizongo was Backed by prominent VCs IDG Ventures & Accel Partners. It was globally acclaimed at platforms like Wharton India Economic Forum, Rice University and Red Herring Top 100 Startups. Bizongo won the Best Innovation award at IndiaPack’15 which is the largest packaging exhibition.

Mr. Partha Sarathi Barbora, Officer-in-Charge, NER Centre of Ahmedabad Textile Industry's Research Association (Moderator)

Mr. Partha Sarathi Barbora, a graduate of prestigious Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai has wide experience on the craft sector of the 8 states of the North Eastern Region. He is presently Officer-In-Charge of North East Regional Centre of Ahmedabad Textile Industry's Research Association, an R& D Organisation and Centre of Excellence for Geotextiles under Ministry of Textiles. He is former principal of Sualkuchi Institute of Fashion Technology (SIFT). During his tenure at SIFT, he imparted skill training courses and introduced various courses on weaving, fashion designing and textile design, in association with NIFT, Kolkata . Prior to his assignment with SIFT he was also associated in the jute diversification programme initiated by UNDP and Govt. of India for a long time.
